Cask at the Philharmonic, Nicholson’s - Liverpool. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Lovely aroma, bursting with bright lemon, biscuity pale malts and straw. The flavor follows through beautifully with more lemon, lightly dried pale malts, faint grass, citrus rind, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Quenching finish with further lemon, balancing biscuity pale malt sugars, mellow bulitter straw, crackers, slight floral notes. Delicious, utterly quaffable. Very impressive. Classical golden ale.

Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 17/04/13. Dark golden amber with a good sized off white head that retains well. Good lacing ensues. Nose is summer fruits, hops, light floral notes. Taste comprises pale malt, light citrus, touch of hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Ok stuff, looks and feels good, not packing much of a punch in the flavour stakes but drinkable none the less.
