Cask at the Philharmonic, Nicholson’s - Liverpool. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Lovely aroma, bursting with bright lemon, biscuity pale malts and straw. The flavor follows through beautifully with more lemon, lightly dried pale malts, faint grass, citrus rind, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Quenching finish with further lemon, balancing biscuity pale malt sugars, mellow bulitter straw, crackers, slight floral notes. Delicious, utterly quaffable. Very impressive. Classical golden ale.
