Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Cloudy pale gold. Noisy suds of white surprisingly stay the course. Nose has nicely juicy Citra. Brioche malts. Belgian yeast notes. Taste has a bready sweetness. Pretty juicy bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Nice balance of sweet and bitter to finish.

Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Light haze on a dark amber brown. Thick, glossy topped egg white head. Nose has some minty notes. Touch of pine. Some slightly eggy off notes, too. Taste is malty sweet, with a robust, herbal, piny bitterness. Medium body. A little oily. High-ish carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Not quite right, I reckon.

Holy fuck, did I not expect that pic! Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Popped at the local sit down kebab place, which does great snap. Hazed gold. Skim of white. Nose has bright, lemon funk. Old wood. Wine dregs. Rich’s scooter seat. Taste is tart and a little tart. Nice pop of bretty bitterness. Nice and easy on the palate. Soft carbonation. Touch of tang. Light tart bitterness to finish. Nice one. Maybe it’s getting better as it ages?

Tap. Hop City. It’s probably yellow and murky. Or it might be a reddy colour. Or orange. Probably got a dense, white head. It’ll smell fruity and tropical. Maybe it’s fruity and tart. Could be bretty. Who cares? Dave turned up, unexpectedly. Jeff and all that lot. I’d have given a shit at one time, but when RBers shit themselves over getting an AB InBev fucking T-shirt I can’t be fucking bothered anymore.
