Description
Initially cuckoo brewing in the Leeds area when opened in 2016, they established their own brewery in 2018 however beers are cuckoo brewed at several places, most notably Squawk.

Tap. Hop City. It’s probably yellow and murky. Or it might be a reddy colour. Or orange. Probably got a dense, white head. It’ll smell fruity and tropical. Maybe it’s fruity and tart. Could be bretty. Who cares? Dave turned up, unexpectedly. Jeff and all that lot. I’d have given a shit at one time, but when RBers shit themselves over getting an AB InBev fucking T-shirt I can’t be fucking bothered anymore.

Can. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nose of raisin, toffee, caramel. Flavours of toffee, red apple, raisin. Malty sweet finish.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018, day one, 04/12/18. Murky light black with a moderate tan covering that dissipates edgeward. Nose is chocolate, light roast, tangy fruit rinds, earthy. Taste comprises liquorice, light spice balance, chocolate sprinkle, dried fruits. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Draught @ Port Street Beer House, 39-41 Port Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M1 2EQ. [ As Zapato Hi PA ].Unclear matt medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity hops, vegetables. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170121] 6-3-7-3-12

Can from the Beer Cave. Appearance - amber with a big billowy head. Nose - orange and apricot Taste - more apricot. Fresh orange. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Gentle finish. Overall - very pleasant.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer festival 2018. A mostly clear amber brown coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Aroma is meaty roast, Salted nuts, apple,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet brown sugars, jammy fruits, raspberry, woodland fruit. Palate is semi sweet, sticky, moderate carbonation. Ok.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - London. Day 1. Pours oily dark brown with a very thin foamy off-white head. Light sweet flavour, some sugary dark malts, soft roast, nips of earthy hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. More sweet dark malts in the close, burnt honey, brown bread. Fairly basic but OK.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, residual pale tan head. Smooth light palate, reasonable superfine carbonation. Tangy dark malts. Mild fruity tang. Little well buried honey. Richer berry and ripe fruits on the finish. Has a charm.
