Hazy dank golden appearance. 'Little Big Nub' was the native-American style nickname of a dog I knew! Little Big Muff is a native pale ale, very crisp cask pour in this instance, with a session strength and taste. Hoppy beer, a little bland in flavour with a very light bitterness.

Tonight's drinking was a beer event choice between Rochdale and Halifax, the latter, and hence this beer won on a last 30 minute decision. Extremely mildly hazed golden, and crisp, it's a hoppy-floral gaseous tasting brew, followed by dominant floral tropical fruits. I'll go to Rochdale tomorrow.

The name of the beer is a metaphor for life. At this point in my life I'm drinking a gaseous heavy tropical fruit brew, evident in both aroma and taste, slightly impacted by its bubbles, but full of flavour with a mild sweetness.

Beer Number #14 at the Clitheroe Beer Festival 2025. Hazy deeper golden with certainly enough mango in both aroma and taste to enjoy.

CBJ bottleshare. Thanks to Cloin for the can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Tangy oaty dark chocolate. A modest ripe fruits thing. Smooth and semi dry finish. Tidy but fairly underwhelming.

CBJ bottleshare. Can. Almost clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Airy smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, a reasonable Maltesear vibe but completely lacking sweetness. Light tangy finish. Okay.
