Cask at the Guild Ale House, Preston. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light citrus and biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Bitter finish.

24/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear bright amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, bready, yeast, blackcurrant, aniseed, caramel and biscuit. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. Unusual and enjoyable.

24/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark mahogany maroon brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of toffee, coffee, bread, citrus, malt, dried fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.
