Description
Initially cuckoo brewing in the Leeds area when opened in 2016, they established their own brewery in 2018 however beers are cuckoo brewed at several places, most notably Squawk.

Can. Mildly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, a very mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. The Idaho 7 delivery is pretty good if just a tad light. Light cooling pine over that wonderful mix of citrus and tropical fruits that is mildly resinous in this brew along with a whisper of savoury skunk. Just a bare pinch of hop spice on the light finish. If the hop intensity was just a couple of notches up the dial, this would be a stunner, as it is, a very good solo hop pale ale.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is strong beefy bitter coffee and dark chocolate. Taste has bitter coffee throughout with some dark chocolate.
