[backlog] 05-05-16 / sample at Cantillon Quintessence 2016. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating: 3.25/5 --- Beer merged from original tick of Agullons Barrica Blend N° 01 on 05 May 2016 at 12:26 - Score: 6. Original review text: Paired with manchego

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, Grand Tasting. Like the "normal" Barrica, but with strong notes of kumquat in aroma and flavour. Not bad, but I prefer the normal version.

9th July 2016: RBESG Grand Tasting (part 1). One of the four sour beers from this brewery we started the Grand Tasting with. All new to me, old friends to some around the table. This version sat mid-table on sourness and tartness in my eyes. Golden orange pour, white wispy head, dry aftertaste: not really my bag.

9th July 2016: RBESG Grand Tasting (part 1). Clear golden amber pour, light weight white head on top. This was more ’farmyardy’ than the other Masia Agullons Sours we tried. More sour too, this was almost acidic in nature and a real sour puss of a beer. Not really to my liking.
