Cask at the Ale House, Reading. Pale amber in colour with a loose white head; tangerine aroma; fruity body - tangerine and orange -with a zesty citrus bitterness that clings to the palette. Rather good.

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading. A dark amber colour with a ring of cream head; dry treacley aroma; a sweet malty body with a firm English hop bitterness; then biscuity with treacle and lingering fresh hops. A solid dark bitter or brown ale.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. Opaque black with a ring of beige head; aroma of chocolate malt; silky smooth with a sweet start, but then becoming really bitter due to the deeply roasted (nearly burnt) grains; then a long dry toasty finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Sherfield Village Solo Hoppy Harrington ].Light unclear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light nutty, light hoppy, fruity, earthy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, caramel, pale malt, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask gravity at Tonbridge Siba 2014. Bitter dark beer. Sme chocolate. Very bitter but quite decent. Very nettley. Yes decent but the finish is very aggressive.
