[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; aroma of green grapes; spicy taste with a smooth grainy body; then a dry finish with a herbal bitterness. Very tasty.

Cask ale at Alehouse, half-pint shared with Finn. A bubbly off-white head, over a clear ruby-brown body, laces fine. Pretty inviting aromas of earthy malts with a caramel scent. Malt-driven flavours, hints of caramel, earth, and a bite of dried fruits. Moments of roasted bitterness to the ending. Pretty decent. (Reading, 01.10.2023).

Pours a lightly hazed orange gold colour with a small diminishing white head. The aroma malty, some toffee and perfumed hop notes. A moderately sweet and malty taste, toasted malt, light toffee and fruity flavours with a light spice and malt bittersweet finish.
