Cask at the 28th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours hazy amber brown with a small lasting bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hop, biscuit, caramel, malt, fruit and a touch of chocolate. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is quite dry, with fruity bitterness, and with lasting chocolate note. Quite an intriguing combination.

Pours a slightly hazy orange amber colour with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma is toffee, malt and fruity; sweet apples. Similar taste, toffee and fruit with a moderate astringent bitterness in the finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5 April 2017. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Chocolate, some dark fruits, toasty malts and a touch of leafy hop, before a dryish finish. A bit thin bodied, but fine.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a halo of white. . Aroma is nutty, stale grains, oxidised, woody, apple. Flavour is semi sweet rough stale, stale grains, rough grassy hops, oxidised. Palate is stale, thin, sugary. Terrible.
