Calderdale Beer Festival 2017. Amber-orange in colour with its orange flavour subtle but growing.

(can, 33cl) Black colour with a brown and huge foamy head. Dark and roasted malty nose with present wheaty notes, also chocolate, vanilla and a mildly fruity and spicy touch. Moderately roasted bitter and slightly tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dark malt character with notes of chocolate, berries and chili spice, lingering into the mildly roasty bitter and slightly tart finish. 16.II.18

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity weak hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty caramel hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O'Nails, Bristol 29/1/2018. Deep Gold in colour, with a moderately-sized, white, head. Floral hops, sweet apricot fruit, digestive malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Can 330ml. @ home. [ As Heavy Industry / VonFreude Heisse Scheisse Weisse ].Unclear dark brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, wheat, dark malt, chocolate, smoke, smoked chili fruit, light earthy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, smoked, wheat, dark malt, chili hot finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. On tap at Old Harkers Arms. Pours a clear amber with a red hue and a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has slightly tart red fruits with a hint of grains and straw underlying. Flavor has slightly tart red fruits with some straw and a bit of dryness in the finish.

Cask at Baltic Fleet. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma combines earthy grains and grass with light onion and biscuit backing. Flavor combines grass and onion with bread and biscuit backing.
