Deep dark golden color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. A bit on the sweet side. Moderate bitterness. Lots of toffee, some roast and mild fruity flavor. Decent stuff.

330ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lasting, beige to tan head. Chocolately dark malty, and minimally cheesy, smoky-dusty chili aroma, notes of cocoa, hints of chipotle. Taste is initially chocolately dark malty, minimally fruity, minimally metallic, hints of red currant, cocoa, later with a dusty-smoky chipotle touch and increasing peppery chili spiciness. Half and half intense flavours and watery, light bodied, empty substance.

On cask at Sheaf View Sheffield - Deep ruby body with a firm lacing white top. Nose has loads of smokiness and citrus. Taste long and dry and sharp with a lingering liquorice finish. Nice.
