Bottle picked up by dad, cheers dad. Consumed at home Wednesday 21.08.13 Pours gold with a slight haze. Not sure why this listed as a Wheat Beer it clearly describes itself on the bottle as an IPA. It is crisp, refreshing and with a decent lemony bite, light pithiness, good bitterness, it is far, better than I expected. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb - Cheers Ash! Considering the quality of the two prior to this I wasn’t expecting much, but this was a very nice beer. Pours reddish brown, good off-white head. Aromas are brandy and christmas pudding, candied peel and raisins. Brandy snaps, actually. Or any recipe that involves baking sugar flour and strong booze. Good body, decent finish. Not a hint of hops to be had, which is sometimes a nice change.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb - Cheers Ash! Interesting to see someone making a low abv IPA single-hopped with Goldings. Now I see why more brewers don’t do this. It smells like soap. Honey and floral soap. It’s both thin and mouth-coatingly unpleasant. Glad I didn’t have the whole bottle to myself.

50cl bottle from Vinomondo. Pours chestnut with a red hue. Nose of dried fruit and biscuits. The taste has toffee and nuts - praline. There’s also some burnt biscuity thing going on. The palate has a decent body with a nice tangy finish. Overall, yes I like this.

50cl bottle from Vinomondo. Appearance - golden and clear decent head. Nose - honey, flowers and soap. Taste - biscuits and toffee. Then astringency. Palate - dry and very astringent. Overall - not one of my best experiences, maybe it’s what was intended but it’s not a good recipe.

On gravity at the Great Welsh Beer & Cider festival, 6/6/2013. Golden with a slight white head. Tangerine and grapefruits, slightly creamy malts and a hoppy, dryish finish. Good.

Bottle: Nose is cereal, slight caramel. Very light and fades quickly. Taste is slight toffee, light malt, good resin in the finish. Mouthfeel is slick. Overall a good session beer, which is lifted above ordinary by the interesting resin in the finish.

Golden ale that has a very sweet earthy aroma. Small head and small bitterness.
