330ml can from Stori, Bala. Pours very dark brown, lasting tan head. C-hop aroma with some coal dust. Taste brings a good CDA character, coconut doesn’t really jump out at you, taste balancing between light pine and light roast. Medium-bodied with a light finish. Pleasant Black IPA.

Can. Almost opaque brown - amber beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, mild sweetness and a little chocolate give way to modest roasty bitterness. Bitterish hops, floral with touch of pine. Whisper of red berries. Light semi dry finish. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 24/2/2016. Hazy and deep orange, with a big, off-white, head. Aroma of tangerines, grainy malts and a hint of clove with some leafy hops. Flavour had a yeasty edge, more fruits and a gentle finish. Good.
