330ml can from Stori, Bala. Pours a hazy dark brown, lasting thick tan head. Aroma of nutty dark malts, chocolate. Bright carbonation on the palate, with a nutty malts before a good chipotle chili kick that lingers. Some additional dark chocolate, soft wheat & grainy roast on the finish. Well balanced, enjoyable chili stout.

Cask at the Waterloo Tap, 16/06/17. Golden with a decent off white head. Nose is straw, grains, lemon rind, tea leaves, light caramel. Taste comprises pale malts, biscuit, toasted bread, hint of toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close with moderate leafy hop bitterness. Ok bitter.

Pours cola brown from the can and leaves a creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate with roasted notes. Taste is chili and sour red currant over a low key sweet chocolate base. Finishes spicy. A bit too spicy, leaving any other more subtle notes overwhelmed. Medium body with mild carbonation. Okay if you’re in the mood for something in the direction.

Cask ale, shared with Finn at Hopbunker. Bright mahogany coloured body, remaining layer, dotted spots on the glass. Dark caramel nose. Blended taste profile of caramel and dried fruits. Half dry malt- accented ending. Satisfying. (Cardiff 02.05.2017).

Fox & Goose Spring Beer Festival 2017. Dark copper coloured ale. It’s a robust malty ale with a lingering gritty bitterness.
