Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
On keg at Barley Cargo.
Appearance - solid, cloudy orange. Foamy white head.
Nose - orange peel, dried apricot and canned peach.
Taste - sweet nectarine and sultanas. Some sweet spice.
Palate - light to medium bodied and rich middle with a cleansing bitterness on the finish.
Overall - great stuff!

Draught at the brewery, cloudy orange colour, mango and papaya aroma, fruity flavor with a strong onion presence and a hint of flowers, medium bitterness and a hint of sourness. Nice and enjoyable.

Draught at the brewery, clear gold colour, mango and green leaves aroma with a touch of malt behind, more tropical fruits in flavor and a stronger malty base with a whiff of onion. Very nice take on a classic style.

Draught at the brewery, hazy pale orange colour, aroma of almond and a whiff of banana, quite sour, wheat and a bit of spiciness. Fair, not that great.

Draught at the brewery, clear light yellow colour, aroma of wheat, waffle, and a bit of spiciness, flavor of wheat a bit of spiciness and a hint of bubblegum. Light sourness and bitterness. Nice and easy, quite simple.

Draught at the brewery, clear golden colour with greenish hues, light malty, mineral aroma, malty light fruity flavor, medium bitterness. Clean, nice and easy.

On tap @ BPBW Saturday session. The beer and the barrel notes weren’t quite well balanced in this one. It’s far from bad, but still not smooth enough.

On tap @ BPBW after. Decent saison, but I didn’t really get much of the sorachi’s spicy character. Perhaps it was too cold?
