Bottle. It pours a dense, almost creamy, beige head over a dark reddish brown body. Some lacing. The aroma is dominated by roasted malts, with some cooked vegetables and a spiced hint chiming in. Something vanilla- or tonka-like too. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts and some spiced, vanilla-ish notes. Long finish. Perhaps not the most exciting or complex brew you’ll ever taste, but it’s sure an honest beer. 160102

Bottle. A hazy, yellow-golden beer with a creamy, white head leaving some nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and yeasty, with a light maltyness, quite decent in fact. It’s a bit sweetish on the palate, yet dry, with a pleasant carbonation level. The bitterness feels a bit harsh, with a generic fruity flavor and some yellow apple notes. Some peppery yeast hints. Fruity finish. A bit too homebrew-ish this one, but sort of nice anyway. 160102

Bottle. An unclear, brown beer topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has caramel, some dried fruits and coffee and a harsh hint of something burnt. It’s dry and medium bodied, with a decent carbonation. Roasted malts, burnt hints, some coffee notes and some dried fruits in the flavor, lasting for a while. Nothing more than glorified homebrew this one. Sort of harsh and unbalanced. 160514

Bottle. It pours a huge off-white head over an unclear reddish pale brown body. Roasted malts, nuts, caramel, pine cones and some yeast and bread in the aroma. It’s full to medium bodied, with a rather heavy carbonation. Sort of dry, with flavors of bread, caramel, some nuts and roasted malts. Lasting roasted, caramel finish with some nutty notes. This one gives me too much of that homebrew feeling. 160514

Draught, 170ml at Ølhallen. A pearl white head blanketing the glass. Clear golden-brown body. Fruity hops on the nose, piney hints. Taste of mild caramel malts together with solid moments of citrus and pine. Bittersweet resinous finish. Soft in the mouth. Fine bodied. Pleasant and tasty brew (Tromsø 29.04.2016).

03.05.2016, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy orangy color. Aroma is slightly sweet floral, flowers, yeast, light malts, hay, minerals, leafs, dried fruits, grass. Taste is slightly dry and harsh floral, weeds, bark, harsh yeast, paper, minerals, light malts, flowers, hints of medicine. Medium bitterness, harsh medical mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation. Not really my cup of tea.
