Can: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral coffee notes is quite nice. Taste is also dominated by floral coffee notes with light residual sugar notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Doesn’t look like a coffee beer but tastes exactly like one.

On tap at Stillwell Freehouse. Pours hazy blonde with a large white head. Loads of dry spicy grass on the nose. Flavour is clean and crisp with spicy grassy hops and cracker malts. Very well hopped. Great pils.

This lager poured a cloudy, light yellow colour with a fizzy, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include corn, a little grass, straw and a little citrus. First swig was not what I was expecting. A lot happier than any lager I’ve ever had before with flavours of citrus and grass with a little malt and honey. Finish is lightly bitter with flavours of hop flavours lingering.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma is full of pithy berries, some wild bugs, and tannins. Flavour is modestly tart, with plenty of bright tart red berries, some bugginess, light tannins, and a touch of pithines. Buggy, tart, full of red berries. Excellent.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy deep dark red with a medium beige head. Aroma is complex, with plenty of pungent musty grape skins and nice bugginess. Flavour is likewise complex, with plenty of red grapes—mustiness, juiciness—that combines well with the bugs. Really smooth and well-put-together. Excellent.

750mL bottle at Burdock, pours a relatively clear amber with a small white head. Nose has a wonderful wild yeast expression, with gentle funk and tons of musty red grape skins. Flavour is wonderfully musky, with tons of red grape skins, some gentle brett, and a touch of oak. Really wonderfully vinous—killer combo of grapes and wild yeast. Excellent.

On tap at Burdock, pours a hazy golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is full of jumbled pithy stone fruits, oats, and some candied notes. Flavour is all wrong, with harsh astringent bitterness, earthiness, and pithy stone fruits. Messy and poorly expressed in the hop department. Poor.

On tap at Burdock, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of tangy tropical fruits, some earthiness, and bready malt. Flavour has a strange hop expression, with a weird tartness, citrus, and a thin malt bill. Not a big fan of the hops here but the beer structure is decent.
