Description
Clavell & Hind, a microbrewery inspired by Gloucestershire's most infamous highwaymen. Travelling the coaching routes of the south-west, these daring robbers would celebrate their wins and drown their sorrows at inns and public houses along the way.

Clear golden amber with a frothy / bubbly white head and a toffee malt and floral hop aroma. Tastes like a hedgerow I guess, with some toffee malt sweetness and hop bitterness, finishes dry and a touch bitter.

Keg at the brewery, no information whatsoever on the beer yet seems like it's new on and they don't know anything about it... Clear golden, white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, grapefruit, pine. Taste is very citrusy, lots of grapefruit, orange, pine, good bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Clearly American west coast inspired which is surprising from C&H, nothing amazing but a decent effort for a trad brewery here.

Keg at the brewery. Clear yellow, white head. Aroma of bready malts, subtle grassy hop. Taste of sweet bready malts, grassy hops, fairly low bitterness, doesn't feel as crisp as I'd want from a pilsner but it's alright.
