Cask pint in a Portsmouth Wetherspoons on 12th March 2017. Golden amber pour, off-white head that hung around. Malty base with plenty of hop action going on in both the aroma and taste, slight citrusy leanings, but not enough to upset me.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Light citrus and malt aroma. Light gold, a hint of haze. Thin white head. Medium bitter. Citrus. Grapefruit. Malts. Light bodied. Extremely chalky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. OK. All rather low key - a lack of crispness or such like.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Floral aroma, with herbs and some spice to it. Light gold. Medium sized, white bubbly head. An initial sweetness but the medium bitterness soon rears its head, consistent through to the finish. Light and watery. Some carbonation. Long finish. Was expecting another bland blonde but this is a winner.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Feint aroma of chocolate maltyness. Dark. Medium off-white head. Light bitter with sweet undertones. Choc & nut. Medium bodied. Slick mouthfeel. A hint of carbonation. Long finish which loses it points as I found it became unpleasantly astringent.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. A golden amber colour with a thin white head; toffee aroma; full bodied with an earthy caramel taste, and a pleasant, if rather woody, bitterness; then some lingering cinder toffee to finish.

Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. 07/06/16. Satisfyingly dark pint but have docked a point for the weak off-white head. Lighter aroma than I expected - bready/yeasty aroma, for an IPA a lack of hops. Smooth palate - the hops come though giving way to a bittet aftertaste. Not bad.

Cask at Chippenham Beer Festival. Crystal clear deep golden beer. Lovely hoppy orange and tropical fruit and grapefruit with a juicy mouthfeel. Good rich malts to balance. Great stuff.
