Description
Liquid Light Brewing Company was born out of a passion for beer and music. We produce modern craft beer in keg, cask and cans.

After a couple of years cuckoo brewing, we found a home of our own and now have a 12bbl brewhouse and tap room in Nottingham.

Our ethos has always been to produce the beer we want to drink, and hopefully you'll enjoy it too!

Half-pint, draught at Thomas Tallis Alehouse. Shared with Finn. Decent white head over a cloudy, grey-golden body, lacing rings down the glass. Moderate floral fruity aromas. Citrus flavoured, lemon and orange, grainy malts beneath. Soft fruity finish. Satisfying. (Canterbury 11.02.2023).

440ml can shared with Martin @ Tap and Can. Dark pour, good frothy tan head. Smooth palate with chocolate coming to the fore, mild caramel up the rear. Not quite bringing to mind a daim bar, caramel could be more prominent, but still a nice stout with a measured sweetness. Would've went well with Pantera.

Hand-pulled third of a pint at The Tap & Can, Shrewsbury on 10th February 2023. Misty dull golden body, smooth and soft white head. Orange like aroma and taste, some grapefruit in there too, easy drinking brew.

Flavour profile? Well, I can't really get anything. Nose. Mouth. Aftertaste. At 7.2% I would expect something to predominate. Maybe everything cancels everything else out? Sorry, doesn't work for me at all

'Twas in the darkest depths of Werrington, I drank a beer so fair... Handpull cask at the Ploughman, Werrington. Light golden with a good haze and a muddled little white head. Generous lacing. Bit citrus hop aroma with pink grapefruit flesh, fresh pineapple. A little bit of vanilla to give balance. Sweet taste, overloaded with hop for the ABV. The bitterness of the hop coats the tongue in the finish. Oily body, very soft carbonation. My goodness.

Draught keg at the Needle and Pin, Loughborough. Cola brown, cola translucency with a small beige head. Lots of chocolate and peanut in the aroma. Sweet taste, but a bit unfocused with less of the suggested flavour. Measured bitterness in the finish. Light almost watery body with medium to heavy carbonation. A little bit underwhelming.
