Can shared by my brother. It pours fairly hazy deep orangey - amber with a thick, fluffy off - white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, zingy, tangy, lemon sherbets, peachy, mango, orange marmalade, bubblegum, Irn Bru, touch green and sappy. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet, green, weedy, sappy, pine needles, orange marmalade, grapefruit, mango, peachy, Irn Bru, peppery spice and bready malt with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nice stuff.

Can from Black Toad. Appearance - golden amber and hazy. Foamy, white head. Nose - nectarine, dried orange and fruit cake. Taste - orange and marmalade shred. Drying malty bread at the back. Palate - medium bodied, roasty middle and dry, roasty finish. Overall - quite nice. Somewhere between modern and traditional.

Cask @ Bierheadz, Nottingham. Golden with a smooth head, and has a smooth hoppy taste too. There's hints of sweet tropical fruit in both aroma and taste.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a cloudy orange-brown with no head whatsoever. Aroma is mainly oranges with some hints of tropical fruit. In the mouth it is quite bitter with a creamy texture. Flavour has traditional hops, marmalade and melon with traces of butter and nuts. Finish is quite bitter. Not too keen on this one.

Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized foamy cream head and good lacing. The aroma has roast malts and lactose. In the mouth it is sweet with a creamy texture. Roast malts again the main flavour, along with autumn fruits, toffee and traces og lemon and cola. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. This is a very nice full bodied stout.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of orange rind and pine. Taste is more of the same. Not getting much rye, but its a joy number. Bitter finish.
