At Reading BF. Asked Elvis, king of the cider stall, for a pudding cider to finish the night on- wanted it to be low ABV as I had to work the next day. This was his recommendation, a still, yellow cider. It’s definitely sweet, but in a natural desert apples kind of way rather than in the fake, artificial sugary way of so many low abv mass-market ciders. Yep, definite sweet eating apples here with vanilla overtones. Lovely smooth full mouthfeel too, very mellow. It did get a little too sweet after a while but all in all for a low abv sweet cider this is a decent effort. Nice one Elvis.
