Description
Established in 2017 in the most Eastern point of mainland Scotland, we brew our beers in small batches in the nautical town of Peterhead. At Brew Toon we are passionate about creating bold, adventurous craft beers, packed full of flavour and character. We strive to use local ingredients where ever possible and pride ourselves on this provenance.
Brew Toon was born out of a passion for brewing and craftsmanship in general.
Our brewery is based on a historic site in Peterhead, which was once home to "Hunter & Sons - Tanfield Brewery". This heritage is hugely important to us and massively influential in how we run our brewery today.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy pink-red with a thin white head. Strong raspberry seed, and jam notes. Creamy taste and texture. Tart, very fruity. Is there a good beer underneath? Hard to say.

Bottle thanks to Danny from the brewery. Appearance - amber red with very white head and nice lacing. Nose - loads of raspberry, possibly even sweeter, red fruit. Taste - ripe raspberry, cream. Palate - light to medium bodied and creamy. Fairly clean finish. Overall - solid-ish. Not sure it's ''pushing my tart tolerance to the brink'' as it's not that tart.

Bottle thanks to Danny from the brewery. Appearance - golden with steady bubbles, decent lacing. Nose - earl grey (bergamot), lavender, floral. Lemongrass comes through late. Taste - loads of bergamot and lavender again. Light citrus spice. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Dry, herbaceous finish. Overall - struggling to decide what I think of this. It's clearly been made well, no faults, but not sure about whether I'd want another.
