[ As Beeston Hop Ace of Spades ].
ABV: 4.6%. Murky medium brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, oat, dark malt, sweet malt, berry, sweet berries. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt, oat, sweet malt, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171014]

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Pale yellow gold colour with a thick white head. Aroma light fruit. Taste is also light grainy and light sweet.

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Hazy yellow colour with a white head. Aroma and taste have a great sour lemoniness the sage is more subtle. Refreshing slight salty finish. Nice

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Amber colour with a thick white head. Citrus orange pithy and pine aroma. Rich sweet and bitter taste with a long bitter finish. Full body.

Cotteridge #3: 20th May 2017. Cheers Mr Pink for bringing this offering, two 330ml bottles floating around. Dark brown, slight haze, lightly tanned head. Berries and malts in the nose, taste similar with a chocolate twist within the flavour. Nice.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2017. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, roasted malt, coffee grounds, mocha and light ash. The taste is soft, toasty, roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, milk chocolate, berry, earth and some charred notes with a dry, toasty finish.Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty decent porter.

Bottle at CWC III; dark brown pour with a slight haze, bubbly tan head, aroma has coffee and dark fruits, taste has sweet malts, some roast, dark berries.

Tried at the 3rd Cotteridge bottle share. Dark rich brown colour with an off white head. The aroma has roasted malt and berry fruit. Taste is mid bitter with a slight fruity sweetness. Light to medium body.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention III 2017. Dark brown beer lasting tan head. Malty aroma. Some chocolate. Light chocolate ok condition. Light hop. I thought ok.

Sample at the Cotteridge Convention III 2017. Poured a clear dark brown with a round off white head. The aroma is roasty malt alcohol molasses. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light dry ashtray roasty slightly watery palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
