Artisan brewery. We specialise in seasonal, small batch, bottle conditioned beer, and the occasional cask. Moved back to Beeston in 2023 from a site in Nottingham City Centre

Bottle. Pours almost clear gold with white foam. Aroma: pale malts, light fruity, citrus, grass. Taste: citrus, grassy hop. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 30th September 2022. Slightly hazy amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma. Caramel malt, slight nuttiness and tangy fruits in-mouth, and a finish of somewhat earthy maltiness. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Opaque golden colour with a thin disappearing head. Aroma oaky and yeasty, over ripe fruit and boozy. Taste light tart and dry. Fairly flat carbonation and a medium body.

Bottle from Hoptimism light hazy golden colour with white head. Aroma and taste yeasty and earthy fairly dry and hints of citrus. Medium body.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - hazy amber with a slightly off-white head. Nose - wood, sherry, citrus, general funk. Taste - sherry again, tangy sherry vinegar. Woody backdrop. Palate - dry, light to medium bodied. Persistent finish. Overall - it's well made, but it lacks high notes of interest.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - golden yellow with a slight haze and a white head, which subsides mostly in about a minute. Nose - candied lemon, white pepper plus sweet spices. Taste - floral, light spice and creamy lemon custard. Palate - light bodied, sweetish middle with a dry finish. Overall - very nice beer.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned slightly off-white head. Nose - dank cellar, hay and pith. Taste - generally very dank,then some stone and citrus fruit emerge at the finish. Palate - light bodied, bone dry the middle and finish. Overall - interesting.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017 - cheers all! Pours clear brown with a frothy tan head. Tangy leathery berry aroma. Light sweet flavour with more leather, earth, wood. Light bodied with average carbonation. Tangy and woody finish, more leathery fruits. So so.
