Description
Nestled on a hill overlooking the River Tyne, surrounded by workshops and fishmongers, Flash House Brewery opened the doors to our North Shields Tap Room in April 2016. From our 5bbl Plant, only a stones throw from the revitalised Fish Quay, we brew small batch, expertly crafted world beers in the old heartland of the industrial North East.

Can from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light sweet malt and lemon. Taste is more of the same. Crisp, light sweet finish.

25/1/2019. Cask at the 10th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours black with a bubbly tan coloured head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, dark fruit, lactose and berries. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and a hint of tartness. Medium body, watery / oily texture, soft carbonation. Light fruity, latte coffee finish.

25/1/2019. Cask at the 10th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours cloudy oale orange gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, oats, vanilla, citrus and grass. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight watery texture, average to soft carbonation.

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club fest. Amber colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and tropical fruit passonfruity citrusy hop aroma. Taste is pale malt, biscuit with juicy tropical fruit, with floral citrus, some pine and hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

[ As Flash House Toasted Coconut ].
ABV: 4.2%. Cloudy dark brown colour with a small, fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, coconut, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, toasted, chocolate - milk chocolate, coconut, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181017]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is roast malt, chocolate, coconut, caramel and hops. Sweet finish.
