Description
Nestled on a hill overlooking the River Tyne, surrounded by workshops and fishmongers, Flash House Brewery opened the doors to our North Shields Tap Room in April 2016. From our 5bbl Plant, only a stones throw from the revitalised Fish Quay, we brew small batch, expertly crafted world beers in the old heartland of the industrial North East.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Hazy amber-gold with a thck creamy-frothy head. Has a stewed tropical fruitiness, which is dull in taste, and it's weak textured too.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Black with a small creamy off-white head. It's a spicy stout but nothing overbearing in this respect.

Cask @ Bridge Tavern, Newcastle [050917]
Black, tan head
Aroma of rich dark malts, nice deep malts, soft vanilla
Taste of nice dark malts, sweet dark chocolate, light vanilla, nice
Palate - medium to thin body, smooth, light sweet, nice dark chocoalte, velvety, but could do with more body. Finish of dark chocolate, soft mellow roast, only issue is a bit too thin
Overall - Nice milk stout

Dark color with a thick tan head. Looks nice. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Toffee, chocolate, mild roast and some orange in the flavor.

330ml bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Hazy rusty golden-brown colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, zesty citrus. Taste is malt caramel with floral fruity peach citrus pine hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry dusty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable IPA
