Teesside Beery Day Out Beer#19. Second bonus in Leeds changing trains tipple. Clear golden coloured brew, with a frothy head. A stated lager with a hop-malt balance, it's fine, but nothing groundbreaking here.

The current Duke Of Marlborough is soon to appear in court defending Intentional Strangulation charges against him! This Marlborough is not controversial, a hazy blonde session coloured ale. It's easy, hoppy, a hint of sweetness, which is tropical notes in the background, and a hint of dryness about it too.

Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden. Clear-opaque gold. Thick foamy white head . Resinous bitterness with a herbal edge. Slightly watery underbelly. And some malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

Very slightly hazy deep straw / pale gold with a frothy white and a soft fruity aroma. Light bodied, satsuma flavour with a tiny hop kick and a dry, slightly bitter finish.

Enjoyable, westie-style with good piney hops and bitterness in the finish.

On tap at Maison du Biere, Elsecar - purple body, no head. Rather washed out blueberry taste, rather pithy with not much oomph. Boring really, expected more of a punch.
