Can at home picked up from Lidl. A dull bruished gold coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is spicy citrus, woody pencil, soap, grass, loose earthy wheat, midget gems. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, orange rind, loose sweaty citrus, spicy citrus, rough round the edges, spicy citrus, light tang, Palate is tangy, guava, highish carbonation, abrasive, harsh, some alcohol.

Can from Great Grog. Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of tinned peach, soft malt and orange barley. Flavour of orange barley and cereal. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. It’s quite sweet but fine overall.

Can from Lidl, Corstorphine. Pours clear pale red with a short-lived pink-tinged head. Aromas of strawberry and lemon, light lactic tang. There's a bit of a sweet shop vibe. Taste is cherry, strawberry, bubblegum. Light sour finish. A bit thin.

Can from Great Grog. Black body with a thick beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, copper and liquorice. Flavour of brown bread and lightly roasted malt. Medium body with a slick texture. Very fizzy. It’s a little overcarbonated but this is a solid, well made stout.
