The name originally came from the movie ‘The Bank Dick’ starring W.C. Fields and Mae West. Most of the movie took place in the ‘Old Lompoc House’, which was the local watering hole as well as a boarding house.
Our food menu is an excellent array of Northwest pub fare with a great selection of entrees, soups and salads. We have also remodeled the patio and added a sun deck.

Draft at the brew pub. Aroma of tart pepper/berry. Dark amber color with an off-white head. Starts dark malt sweet with something like cranberry for contrast. Piney hop? There is a strong bitter, just hard to pin down. Makes a strong statement.

Draft at the brewpub. Brown amber color with a super puffy white head. Medium body and carbonation. Aroma of Xmas spice. Flavor of roasted malt, decent hop. Finish is well balanced, spicy, malty, hoppy. Could be a trace of ginger. Very nice.

Draft at the brewpub. Roasted malt aroma. Mahogany color with a decent white head. Medium body with mild carbonation. Something of a winter warmer impact. Sweetly caramelly. This is not a typical APA (wondering whether they mixed kegs). Somehow floral hop seems to balance at the finish. Seems a cross between an APA and a brown. Good though.

Draught at Hedge house. Poured deep copper red with off white head andmuch lacing. Spicy aroma. Peppery flavour with a malty backbone and a lasting bitterish and peppery finish. This did not seem like it was that strong. I do not know if this is a doppelbock but that is what the server called it.

Draught nitro. Poured black with thick creamy tan head. Much lacing. Plummy aroma. Malty flavour with bittersweet chocolate and coffee notes. Bittersweet finish. I like stout and this is a worthy effort.

Draught. Burnished copper. Faint hoppy aroma. Hoppy body with grapefruit, but not what you might expect from an IPA. Nutty, dry finish.

Dark brown colour. Big head. Chocolatey, slightly plummy, toasty, grapefruity aroma. Toasty character with light citrus accents. With its blend of subtle roastiness and overt hoppiness, it reminds me a lot of Black Toque, but with more grapefruit and an extra splash of booze.
