Guest ale on cask at West End Brewery in Leicester. Shared with Finn. Patchy beige head, golden-brown body, close to clear. Promising smell of leafy hops. Mixed taste of earthy malts and resinous bitterness towards the ending. Rounded mouth feel. Pleasing. (11.02.2019).

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/2/2019. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Citrus hops, rich tea malts, some tangerine character and a dryish finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/2/2019. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Floral hops, rich tea malts, plenty of almost oily elderflower character and a dryish finish. Good.

Hazy pale amber colour, small steady frothy off-white head, good lacing. Aroma roasted malt, grain, caramel, light pine, basement, nutty and fruity notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, nutty and fruity notes, grain, caramel. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, orange peel, pine notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, nice and tasty.

Gravicask, shared with Finn at the 24th Carmarthen Bees Festival. Hazed dark brown body, beige head, spotty lacing. Brown malty aromas, dry. Dark caramel flavours, hints of dried fruits. Roasted malty bitterness to the ending. Nice. (Carmarthen 04.10.2018)

Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, tart, sour, light spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sour, tart, dark malt, light spicy. Retronasal elderflower more pronounced. Sweetbitter aftertaste, fruity elderflower and herbal notes. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, fresh and fruity, nice.
