Bottled. An unclear red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of berries, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, fruit, and malt, leading to a dry finish. 6/3/6/3/12

Jens Smagning - vague fruity with a sweet malty backing, caramel and toffee like sweetness, herbal hoppy accents, body is pretty watery, not doing much for me.

Jens Smagning - overt sweet malty action, some vague indiscernible fruity notes, residual bitterness trying to cut through the sweet malts, subdued hoppy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy, beige head. Chocolatey nose with subtle roast. Medium body, roasty, bitter chocolate and a rather solid bitterness. Not sure I really pick up the licorice though. Well brewed. Perhaps closer to a Schwarzbier. 160924

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a deep brown with an orange hue and a smallish, beige head. Buttery nose - not a hundred percent certain if it's from a combination of the added brown sugar and vanilla, or it's actually diacetyl. Medium body, very sweet roast and licorice with the added vanilla being very dominant. The coffee on the other hand is rather downplayed. A bit of a sticky mess. 140224

Draught at Skaal, Sønderborg. Faint caramelly aroma. Hazy reddish brown colour. Small head. The flavour is caramelly, oxidized, bready, citric. A little sweet and very bready. Toasted black bread finish.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours moderately hazy copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt amd caramel, with hoppy amd estery touches. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with bready notes and bitter, hoppy touches. Malty and estery aftertaste with bitter touches. Reasonable but not more than that.
