Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is piney hops, lovely tropical fruits, pine resin, malt, grapefruit, citrus, orange, touch of caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Lovely tropical fruity piney IIPA, one of the better Oedipus brews, well done, right up my alley!

From tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma is grainy malts, grass and hay, notes of tropical fruits and hops with citrus and a mild floral/herbal touch. Mildly sweet flavour with with a moderately bitter finish. Body is medium. Lovely hopped Lager!

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is spicy yeast, fruits, citrus, juniper berries, orange, herbal notes, mild floral, bready malt, lemongrass, touch of gin. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Surprisingly pleasant, thanks to the generous amount of orange and fairly balanced use of herbs, luckily I do not get a lot of ginger. Pretty good.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is quite wheaty, spicy yeast, fruity, citrus, floral, mild coriander, soft tropical and herbal lemongrass notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is under medium. Not ’just another Wit’, has a varied floral spicy fruity aroma. Very good!

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is herbal with green weeds, pine, citrus peel, grainy malt, elderflower, coriander. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Nicely herbal aroma with pine and flowers, Belgian notes as well and a fairly sizeable sweetness. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is fruity hops, sweetish tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit, citrus, creamy malt, oats, and soft notes of pine. Flavour is above moderate sweet with a medium bitter finish. Body is medium. Yum, nicely juicy and hoppy with sweetish fruits. Good stuff!

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Murky appearance. Aroma is rather hoppy with juicy tropical fruits, citrus, orange, mango, and fruit peel. Flavour is light sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Belgian, really? Quite a substantial Cloudwater influence with its concentrated juicy aroma. Tasty.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is soft citrus, adjuncts, particularly corn, with soapy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and lightly bitter. Body is light to medium. Bland one with unsavory adjuncts, sweetish flavour, yet some decent citrussy notes. Finishes flat. Disappointing from the two breweries involved.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is tart fruits with apricot, lemon, peach, light tropical notes and a touch of sourdough. Flavour is medium sour with some sweet tones. Body is medium. Nicely fruity and sour, easy and refreshing.
