Bottle at the Watford tasting 26/07/14. Thanks to Leighton. Translucent orange with a lively off white head. Aroma is wheat floral with light honey, slightly stale. Flavour is light wheat, orange, floral. Palate is dry and grainy. Lingering earthy solid bitterness. Highish carbonation. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared in Watford. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has bread, orange meringue, tangerine. Light-medium sweet flavor with slight pine needles, low bitterness, some further tangerine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, some bready malts, further citrus meringue, pine needles. Nothing special but perfectly drinkable.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home, bottled 11 Feb ’14. Cloudy orange/aber color. Big, dense, rocky off white head. Aroma’s: tart, sour fruit, brett notes. More brett retronasal, with tartness, slightly lactic. Flavor is tart with some sweetness as well. Feels stronger than 7%. Finishes rather dry, moderate to full bitter, herbal. Not half bad.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning, labeled as ’Wilde Ria’. Golden blonde color, hazy. Foamy, but quite steady white head with reasonable lacing. Aroma’s: sour, yoghurt/buttermilk, fruit (but not distinguishable which fruit), some grain, light brett notes. Flavor is moderate sour, fruity, light sweet. Light bodied. Somewhat high carbonation. Not much going on in the finish. Brett notes are light throughout (fortunately).

Light straw with some yeast flakes and small white head. Big bitter grapefruit peel, spicy, lemon juice, vegetal. Malt base is dry and light, not much sweetness at all, with a spicy dry finish. Medium to light bodied. Nice spicy, fruity and alsmost saison-like dry quality to it. I like it.

Spicey with the old ’kuit’ spice, that was widely used in the Medieval ages. Tastes like a herbal saison, but a bit sweeter. Decent.

helder gouden met witte kraag. vreemd aroma, koriander, en zoet, maar het moet wel aan de galanga liggen waar de specifieke geuren vandaan komen. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, zwak bitter, sterk, matig fruitig, sinaasappel, citroengras, zoet, koriander. medium body, zacht glad/cremig. zeer kruidige en smaakvolle tripel. vreemd biertje

oranje/amber oogt wazig met mega schuimige wit/gelige kraag. aroma van den, stro, citrus en wat floraal smaken zijn redelijk bitter, dun van textuur, pepertje, sinaasappelschil, licht den, pittig karakter, maar over het algemeen mwaahh
