Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Black colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of roast malt, rich chocolate, wood barrel, dark fruits, vanilla, caramel, raisins, booze. Taste is sweet, roasted, malty, dark chocolate, berry fruity, woody, vanilla, oak barrel, bourbon, with earthy boozy bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth soft carbonation, roasty chocolately bitter finish. Nicely sippable.

Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Aroma is chocolatey with a boozy edge. Underlying malts. Flavourwise it's big and fruity with a big doughy streak. Sour edge. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Tips. Opaque dark brown black beer, small tan head, vanishingly short lived. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, modest fine carbonation, fine for this brew. Incredibly rich chocolate malts and chocolate syrup. Rich bourbon barrelling in the mid. Back end brings a little spice. Light coconut runs throughout. Fucken rich!

Flavour is composed of Chewy brown sugar, toffee, caramel. Brown sugars. Palate is thick and seet, sweet sweet, oily.

19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Airy smooth palate, very mild carbonation. Smooth but rich dark chocolate malts, a little dark chocolate malt cream. Super rich bourbon, very rich ripe fruity bourbon. Airy spicy finish. Airy finish. Robust.
