Pours thick - great sound. Nice and black, no head. This smells rich - lots of dark minerally chocolate, with some nice bourbon accents, and umami dark sugars. Full body. Very low carbonation. There's a depth of acidity, chocolate, a bit of umami. The barrel lends a nice boozy character, some char, and this goes well with the dark sugars. High quality. I find the acidity lends a nice bit of juiciness to cut the richness.

Pours like oil 😬🛢
Aroma: thick, some moderate sweetness, a lot of oak.
Taste: along the same lines, heavy and rich, but balanced.
Overall: lovely 😍

Bottle. Pours inky black with a small brown head and decent lacing. Aroma is fudgy, bourbon, coconut. Flavor is fully sweet, light bitter. Candy-esque, but good in small doses. Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle at One last Hurrah for Cycle. Sweet vanilla and toffee notes clash with a light tartness that doesn’t quite belong. There’s a faint fruity profile and hints of brandy, but the balance is skewed. Sadly, a drain pour.
