Bottle shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Inky, opaque black with nice viscosity. Aroma is strong whiskey over earthy, sweet malt, dark fruit. Taste is strong dark fruit, toffee, earthy malt, whiskey, oak, late chocolate. Thick texture, full bodied, soft carbonation, finish as taste. A dessert sipper best in small doses.

22 oz bottle. Thank you Clarkvv for the share. Aroma is black, licorice, chocolate, wood. Whiskey is pretty well balanced with chocolate, licorice, raisins and perhaps fig. Interesting stout!

2024 bomber drunk 7/26/25.
Dark, undetermined clarity. Tan head quickly to partial cover.
Rich whiskey and oak with nice spice and sweetness. Good mix of strong whiskey character and softer malt. Great woody oak character with a touch of char and salt. Lovely stuff with nothing aggressive and a seeming excellent balance and attenuation.
Raisin, prune, that sort of thing. Very, very English RIS or even Old Ale-like with the accompanying oxidation and salty licorice. Good attenuation but still good malt depth without any syrup. Lingering prune, moderate whiskey and good strength without any sharp/hot alcohol or overdone whiskey. Chocolate and salty char with oxidized prune and light oak reprise.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with almost no head. Aroma has intense coconut, some cinnamon, light vanilla, and a touch of papers. Flavour is rich and cohesive, with lots of cinnamon, coconut and peppers in good cohesion. Very smooth, oily, almost flat carb, but everything is cohesive. Excellent.

Dark brown. No head. Nice chiles like guajillo sort, along with coconut, decent bourbon. On the palate, vanilla and cinnamon, the chiles are again dry and earthy, but more complementary on the palate where on the nose they take the lead. It's thick, and sticky sweet, and the adjuncts aren't bad. Excellent.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with no head. Old woody barrel, cinnamon, feint dried peppers and vanilla with a just a hint of coconut. Decent, but prefer Tuesday 2024.
