26/6/2021: Shared with Dan & Grumbo at the Euro 2020(1) watchathon. Aroma of veg and wet grain. Taste is very grainy, gritty and an off bitter finish. High carbonation. Not for me.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Slightly reddish clear brown with moderate sized off-white head which lasts well. Aroma of toffee, yeasty overripe fruit, brown bread. Taste is very malty, some toffee, has a tangy yeastiness but not too overbearing. A bit average but its ok.

500ml bottle: BB 30th December 2024. Drank on 28th July 2024 while house, dog and Dad sitting in Devon. Mahogany red/brown body, clean and bright, off-white foaming crust on top. Malty front with a bitter, almost sour undertone. Got better and less 'sour' as I got into the brew, scored kindly!
