Bottle. Ringstead Stores Norfolk. Having a fridge clearing week or two. Pours an attractive ruby copper colour. Light haze. Decent swirl of off white head. Nose has a tangy sweaty malt thing up front. Some fruity hop notes. Some spice like character. Taste is similarly sweaty and tangy. Quite an astringent bitterness to it too. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Tangy finish. Nope.

500ml bottle bought at Beautiful Beers. Shared with Finn. Steady fawn-coloured head, black in the glass, spotty lacing. Smooth roasted malts, hints of toffee. A vibe of smoke to the taste of caramel malts, added by dark fruits. Rounded roasted malty end. Satisfying. (Hotel room, Cambridge 12.11.2021).

Bottle. Ringstead Stores, Ringstead, Norfolk. I mixed in the sediment as advised, to let this beast go truly wild. Ok. Turns out hazy gold, with a dense and lasting white foam. Looks good. Nose has some peachy yeast notes. Hint of fruit. Taste is slightly vinegary unfortunately. Apart from that it’s dry and bitter. Thin on the palate. Fine carbonation. Astringent on the finish. Gone wonky somewhere.
