Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: purple in color in the glass with a pink one and a half fingers of foamy head. The head took it's time to dissipate then leave some light messy lace
Aroma: big sweet to tart cherries, some acidity, funky grassy tones, oaky tones; even lighter woody scents further underneath
Flavor: starts sweet then brings in the tart of the previously noted aromas to lead into a subtle cherry aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; rolls at a good pace across the tongue with some acidic stabbings but nothing overbearing; finishes semi-tart with the cherries and oak
Overall: I say a very nicely done saison, it's not fruited, it's not a sour saison; just a very nice saison all around that I would love to have again.

Can into a becher glass.
Appearance: clear golden yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: subtle citrusy to lime hop tone up front with a delicate floral hop sweet whiff then a little bit of a light herbal undertone to it. Brisk clean malts
Flavor: follows suit of the aromas by blending them semi-sweet with a crisp bitterness; delicate aftertaste of biscuits and floral to lime tones
Texture: light bodied, very sessionable; rolls very smooth and clean across the tongue; finishes crisp with the lime and herbal character
Overall: this is a very well done pilsener, I very much would love to have again.

2020 bottle traded in NYC back in '22, kept in the cellar since then. Sophisticated, complex and elegant, vibrant currant jam meets compelx funk, surprisingly fruity for its age. Acidity is soft, but high, not as acetic as I feared it woud be

Canned 10/15/25, drunk 1/14/26, as pictured.
Gently floral hops and a touch of caramel/toast with no real indication of the Simcoe. Guess they were VERY careful with it, which is good, as Simcoe seems like it could easily destroy a lighter lager. Problem is, I'm not getting much else in its place. Just weakly watery grains, vague mineral water....
Wow, this is light. Not thin or horribly watery, just really low in flavor. White bread, light biscuit, light cracker and then some Simcoe bitterness with a touch of pine/grapefruit. No flaws or anything, but also not very compelling in any way. Like the experimentation, but Simcoe does not seem like a great fit for a super light lager.

Growler to lager glass.
Appearance: black color with a three finger off-white foamy head, moderate lace trying to stick but ultimately slides at a good pace
Aroma: lots of dark roasted malts, subtle coffee grounds, dark bready toastiness, sly earthiness
Flavor: semi-sweet with mild roasty, earthy and toasty character, moderate aftertaste of roast, toast and earthiness
Texture: light to medium bodied with great sessionability about it. Good carbonation and dark roasty finish
Overall: nicely done dark lager well worthy of returning to.
