16 oz. can. (Sitting in my fridge about 3 weeks) date coding is smudged. Aroma is pretty good; grass, tropical fruit, decent pine. Flavor is mild grapefruit peel, grass and a good amount of lingering pine. Almost juicy, and almost a soft texture. A nice job trying to copy a NEIPA reminiscent of Tree House, Hill Farmstead, or Trillium. A little more practice and Mayflower might get it. About average for the style.

Pours a nice straw from a can, thick white head leaves some lacing. Grassy and floral aroma and flavor, light touch. I was expecting some residual sweetness, but it's nicely bitter. Pretty good beer.

Not sure how old the bottle is, this store tends to have a fair amount of shelf turds. Oh wait, bottled January 2017. Pours a nice hazy orange amber from a bottle. Nice spun candy aroma, maybe frangipane. Flavor adds apricot to the mix. Yeasty. Pretty good beer, hides the booze well. Seemed to age well even on a package store shelf.

Pours a nice hazy amber from a can. Big mango and passionfruit aroma with a subtle pine background, flavor is treacly sweet, like eating melted mango sorbet. Good beer.

Pours pale straw into shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet syrup aromas. Crisp with corn and malt upfront turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is very dark brown--almost opaque black--with no sparkle, finger width, fizzy, light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is dominant, strong roasted/burnt malts, bordering on ash, perhaps a hint of chocolate and lactose. Taste is strong roasted malts (not as burnt as aroma) with chocolate (more apparent than aroma) and late bitter. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, but somewhat watery, texture (like drinking very soft, demineralized, water), lively carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter roasted, dry finish. Overall, not a bad beer by any stretch of the imagination but was expecting so much more from this brewer, so in that context a bit disappointing.

16 oz. can. Purchased at Ball Square Fine Wine, Somerville. Canned on 3-28-18. Stamped "398 Years" next to the date. Aroma is baked bread, light floral, and weak fruit. Flavor is a bit heavy on the sweet malt. The hop try's to balance it and almost does.
