0.33 l bottle from ’Wijnhuis Blerick’, best before February 2018. Hazy, straw yellow with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity and moderately yeasty-spicy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple, hay, some banana and hints of clove. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of banana, lemon peel, pineapple, hay and some clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, not overly smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice and refreshing!

On tap at SBH. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of wet socks, some diacetyl, light cardboard, hops. Flavour is light sweet, grainy, cardboard, buttery caramel, light hoppy. Light bodied. Not great.

Tap @ Oproer. Hazy golden coloured with an off white head. Nose is biscuit, light hoppy. Flavour is biscuit malts, citric hops. Medium carbonation.

6 3 7 3 13 Draft @ Bret. Clear deep golden color. Off white head. Aroma’s: grain, light fruity. Retronasal it’s grainish ,sweetish, fruity. Flavor is moderate bitter, fruity. Light bodied. Finishes slightly dry with a firm earthy bitterness.

7 3 5 3 12 Draft at Little Delirium, Amsterdam CS. Near clear amber with a big white head. Aroma of grapefruit, green hops, light citrus and malt. Flavour is heavy heavy bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Draught @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2017. Clear apple juice orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hop bitter, a bit old hops somehow or maybe not old but it has a weird sharp sort of bitterness. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottled at Haket, Göteborg, on June 16, 2017.Thanks to Tomas when he was sampling some varuprover, so not (at least not yet) part of their regular selection. As a blind tasting.33 cl bottle, 7% ABV, 38 IBU, BB 1/2018.Hazy golden color, off-white lasting head. Malty, sweet, slight hoppy, mild, a bit of tomatoes scent, also spicy, towards Belgian yeast. Very henolic, clove, yeast, spicy taste, also a tad hoppy and rather bitter. Fizzy growing mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Mineral, bitter, clove aftertaste. Soem warming alcohol.I guessed they had tried to make a hoppy Belgian style golden ale, was surprised it was supposed to be a farmhouse ale (or saison) since I didn’t pick up much of this character as I’d expect from such a beer.5/3/6/2/11=2.7

0.33 l bottle from ’Sterk Avondverkoop’, bottled in November 2016. Minimally hazy, dark reddish brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-resiny aroma of caramel, milk chocolate, hazelnut, some citrus and a touch of pine. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty and a bit fruity-resiny taste of caramel, milk chocolate, hazelnut, some citrus and traces of pine, followed by a medium long, relatively bitter, quite resiny and a bit roasty finish. Above medium-bodied, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting stuff, really tasty. Rather hoppy for a Bock, feels a bit inappropriate but it prevents it from being one of so many. Nice!
