From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Sour butterish aroma. Bitter, malty and butterish. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Mild citrusy and bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A brown beer with no head. The aroma has strong notes of hops and lemon. The flavor is sweet with strong ntoes of lemons on the tongue, leading to a bitter finish.

nice coffee stout from willimantic, thanks brian! black but not oil black, taste is like other coffee stouts, but nothing too crazy which is a nice change of pace, usually these can get out of control. easy to drink, bitter, some chocolate notes as well.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear dark brown color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, wood, light chocolate, heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, dark fruit, light resin. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, woody, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100804]

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Very dark brown colour, thin beige head. Hop and slight chilli aroma. Some oily choc flavour. OK. Interesting.

Growler (I am guessing this is it, but will move if I confirm that it isn’t) thanks to t0rin0. Pours with a hazy golden brown body and a tan head. Aroma is grassy, catty, windex, pine, lemon and bitter. Flavor is bitter, lemon, citrus. Dry and bitter. Not amazing, but not bad either.

4th August 2010. GBBF.
Muddy dark brown beer with a tan coloured suddy head. Semi dry palate, low carbonation. Sweetish beer! Sweet malt well blended with sweetish hops. Repressed orange and pineapple. A little petrol! Finishes over dry.

Cask@GBBF2010. Very deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, liquorice, wood, hops and grass. Flavour is liquorice, roas, some mild grass and quite mild coffee in it as well. Quite fruity and floral hoppy in the finish.

Pours from the growler a watery, translucent, dark brown with a cloudy, white head. Nose is malty, breads, chocolate, yeast. Flavor is sweet, bready, yeasty, crackers, chocolate, light bitterness. A little orange peel at the end. Medium bodied, lightly dry. A very odd nose on this.
