Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours light hazed golden with a thin white head. Aromas of sour tang, spice, grapes. Taste is sour, tannins, fruity and a ginger linger. Nice.

Bottle, smallish head, opaque black colour, aroma of prunes, dark bread, vanilla oakiness and some umami, flavor of prunes and raisins with a bit of chocolate behind, quite sweet but with a mellow sourness balancing really nicely. Highly enjoyable.

Bottle from Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - cloudy orange to red. White head. Nose - floral, dank and salad drawer. Taste - cucumber and apple, a touch of red fruit, earthy. Palate - light bodied, tart and funky finish. Decent linger. Overall - good but tasted a lot better sour today.

Bottle from Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - deep amber to red and hazy. Thin tan head. Nose - red cherry, wood, dark cellar and funk. Taste -again red berries and cherry more than dark fruit. More funk and wood. Palate - light to medium bodied. Long and lingering tart finish. Overall - lovely stuff.

Bottle. Morrison’s. Fridge clear out job. Pours like thick flat cola. Halo of tan tight bubbles. Nose has thick flat cola. Nut roast. Sour apple. Praline. Chocolate ice cream. Taste is tart and dry, with a sticky chocolate sweetness on the lips. Decent body with fine crisp carbonation. Sourness kicks in on the finish. Doesn’t come together too well for me. Seems all over the place. Fair play to Morrison’s for sticking these on the shelf, though.

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - deep brown to black and opaque. Thin crema head. Nose - vinous and at the same time chocolate. Red fruit, mainly raspberry and red cherry. And chocolate. Taste - raspberry, red cherry and chocolate . Palate - tart and medium bodied. Long linger. Overall - lovely stuff.
