ABV: 6.0%. Cloudy medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, fruity malt, sugary, sweet yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, sugary, sweet malt, sweet yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180804]

Bottle at Pre GBBF Shindig 2018. Red fruits decent malt. Decent strength. Likeable biere de garde. Bready aroma

Bottle thanks to Ian. It pours bright amber - orange with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, nougat, clove rock, caramel, toffee and fruit cake. The taste is sweet, oily, slick, toffee, clove rock, brown bread, red kola, spice, warming alcohol, earth and burnt cake with a slick finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Heavy on the palate. Fair.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge get together. Spicy citrus aroma. Cloudy gold. Creamy thick head. Medium bitter. Sweet edge. Thin. Light. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Refreshing despite the well hidden ABV.

23rd June 2018, shared bottle at the Cotteridge gathering. hazy light golden body, white crown. Grainy and floral nose, a little malty sweetness in the taste, light fruity notes late on. Maybe the Imperial Stouts drank around this took away some of it's more subtle attributes as my senses were almost shot be the time this arrived in front of me.

Bottle split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Hazed orange with an off white head. Nose is tarte fruis, straw, bitter sweet aroma, light yeast, grains. Taste comprises tangy fruits, bready, straw, grains, light yeast, hint of spice, caramel, dried frutis. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, lick of booze in the close. So so ... lacks depth and flavour considering the hefty ABV.

Bottle courtesy of Ian, cheers Ian! consumed at home Monday 25th June 2018 sat down the garden by the pond Pours murky dark brown with a slim off white head. Soft in the mouth, a little bit of vanilla, some caramel, a touch of stewed fruit, a little metallic tingle. Ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0
