From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 11.03.19 and 09.09.19. Muddy pale peach colour. Off-white head. Strong aroma and taste of lemon juice, lychee, tamarind, canned tropical fruits and tropical breakfast juice. Balanced with high tropical bitterness.

Can split at L6, thanks to Gunnar 17/01/19. Hazed golden orange with a handsome off white cap. Nose is ripe citric flesh, pine needle, orange wine gums, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises cantaloupe melon, pine resin, sweet malts, tropical fruit medley, tangerine, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Covering white head over a muddy orange-gold body. Clingy lacing. Promising fresh fruity smell of pineapple and lactose. Fruity taste of pineapple and mango on a backbone of lactose. Rounded mid-dry fruity ending with discreet bitterness. Fine depth. Likable. (Shared with friends, Bodø Panorama 02.03.2019).

8-3-8-5-16 Can, #132, ten days after canning. Pours cloudy yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is grassy hops with pine and citrusy notes of grapefruit, orange peel and tangerines, as well as tropical notes of mangoes, apricots and fruit pits. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is dank hops with citrusy notes of grapefruit, orange peel, as well as tropical notes of mango, papaya, melons and fruit peel. Dank, bitter hops in the finish.

8-4-7-3-14 Can, #117, three weeks after canning. Pours pitch black, with a big creamy, mocha head. Aroma is burned malts with dark bread, cocoa and vanilla, as well as notes of sweet coffee. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is burned malts, with caramels, cocoa and vanilla, as well as coffee and leather.

Can at home. Pours muddy golden with off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine needles, some ethanol. Tastes bitter with little sweetness. Medium bodied, alcoholic warmth, dry mouthfeel, bitter finish. A DIPA that deserves its name, with a bitterness that is hard to find these days!

330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, chocolate / cocoa and vanilla. The flavour is drier than expected for a milk stout, but has the same elements as the aroma. Some bitterness from the roast malts and hops in the finish. Would benefit from a bit more sweetness and some more alcohol.

From can at Kjell’s barasje with KR, TO, EMJ and PMR 20.02.19. Cloudy greyish yellow. White head. Refreshing aroma and taste of grapefruit, lychee, tamarind, tangerine and sorrel. Good!
