Partizan Brewing
Microbrewery
in Thorpe Langton,
Leicestershire,
England 🏴
Associated with 2 Venues
Established in 2012
The brewery relocated late 2017 from Almond Road to its current location.
Today
Ten years later and much like other small breweries across the UK Partizan has faced tough trading conditions; namely the lasting effects of the pandemic, soaring inflation and increasing rent. To both protect Partizan and avoid chasing inflation and increasing prices, the brewery moved its production out of London in 2023 to a farm in Market Harborough in rural Leicestershire, locating it at long-time friends, Langton Brewery.
We are now expanding the brewery here, on the farm. By Spring 2024 we will have a new fermenter hall and a greater capacity than we ever had in London which will allow us to brew exciting new beers and to collaborate with old friends and new. Despite the draw of the countryside our roots are still in London and we will continue to meet the demands of our customers in the city that we still call home.

Tap at the brewery. Very grainy, Nelson is in the background. Orange lemon and pineapple squash aroma (bit of a theme today). Taste is a bit more tropical, passion fruity. Nice. Maybe feels a bit too citrusy for the name, but it's nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Saison Nelson on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Bottle at the brewery. Getting messed up by now, so ratings are falling to pieces. Aroma roasty, bit choc, bit of smoke, meaty. Taste smoky and roasty. Bit of creaminess too. Pretty good. Many spelling mistakes to correct in my notes. I needed a break at this stage.

Bottle at Brewdog Camden. Dark brown, small golden head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate, roasty malt, bit of smoke and coffee. Taste is a bit more interesting, roasty, bit milky, touch of smoke, cola. Isn't this too strong to be a mild? But it is pretty nice.

Bottle at the brewery. Golden colour, clear. Aroma is peppery, herbal, saison yeasty. Taste is very drinkable, bit of tea, orange, herbal slightly creamy. Quite soft. Alright, but not so exciting. Maybe could have done with being a bit colder.

Bottle at the brewery. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is ginger, bit of pepper. Taste is similar, ginger at the front. Some sweetness. Not so much pepper. Once again, might have enjoyed it more a bit colder.
