We brew beer that is distinct because we believe that moments together call for something memorable. It could be our Midwestern roots, or the land we draw inspiration from, but crafting the right beer for the right moment is central to us.

12oz Bottle 2011 zintage. Thanks to SS I think. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. Aroma is tons of coffee along with some nice milk chocolate and sweet malts. Taste is all coffee, with the sweetness and a touch of booze on the end a very tast treat.

Draft at Old Fashioned. Filtered orange-amber color. Thin, patchy head. Pleasant citrus grapefruit aroma..mayeb some Summit action as well. Bold and hoppy, the fruity citrus hop tones are quite nice. Clean body, not syrupy or sticky. All out hop barrage. Well done, certainly above par for a WI IIPA.

Aroma of pale bready notes, tart fruity notes, candi sugar and an almost champagne-like thing going on. The taste is bread, candi sugar, that champagne thing again, stone fruits. Medium bodied.

12 ounce bottle, 2011 vintage, courtesy of The Guy. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a thin fizzy brown head. Average head retention and lacing. Aroma of rich coffee, chocolate, vanilla, nutty notes and faint whisky. The taste is rich roasty coffee notes, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, faint hops. Medium bodied. Tasty beer, and I have a feeling it might give me a buzz, which is exactly what I’m hoping for at the moment.

Bottle - thanks SpencerDB. Medium depth brown with a thin tan head. Smells like fresh coffee and just a slight hint of mocha. Taste is more fresh coffee, now the roastiness comes through. Just a little bit of chocolate malt, but the big player is the coffee. Strong and fresh, but not overwhelming. I like it.
