2 week old can A: Poured a huge foamy head over a not too hazy medium gold body. Fervent carbonation, good head retention and sticky lacing. S: Light but bright aroma of orange and crackers. T: Juicy orange notes and some caramel combine for simple but nice flavor balance. Mild to moderate bitterness and light sweetness. M: Highly carbonated and light bodied with a smooth finish. O: A nice hoppy pale has become hard to find. Right down my alley.

35cl Blik, al wat ouder. Iets mistig diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Mierzoete Tropicana-geur en smaak, gezoet ‘vruchtensap’ van extract, ananas uit blik, alcohol, hint van oplosmiddel. Zo extreem zoet, brrr..

On tap for The Old Fish House in Grant FL. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a small white white head, goog lacing. Sweet fruit, candy, tropical fruit, herbal. Ok, not much IPA character though.

Not sure what this wants to be. Kind of a session cold IPA, but it loses heartier lager notes by having such heavy hopping, and doesn’t have the sweetness you want from a cold IPA. Muddled and boring.

Some real dank terpenes in this one for sure, the nose all terpene classic bag-of-weed smell. Some citrus and pine resin too, to signal that its really hops. Hazy dark copper, big fluffy head lasts a good while. Resinous hops coat the mouth at first sip, light cannabis flavors with pine resin. Dry to semi-dry profile, malts are there but clean and crisp and bready. Lingering herbaceous bitterness is not quite cannabis like in flavor, but more of a novel herbal flavor, something earthy and strong. It's fairly bitter for a hazy, surely the most bitter one I've ever had, and that seems likely because of the G13 strain rather than a heavy hand of bittering hops, but I'm not 100% on that. After awhile the dank subsides from the nose and it takes on that same weird bitter-herb quality in the aftertaste. It also really lingers on the palate in a way that is really not terribly pleasant. Strange beer that seems average to above average at first sip and then devolves into something I almost want to toss. It's that aftertaste that colors everything thereafter. I'll score the aroma on the initial whiff but everything else is based on the long-term impression. Can from Fresh Market, Winter Springs FL
