Nigel mostly brews once a week, occasionally twice, rotating through a range of beers. Periodically he will brew a seasonal special, often incorporating foraged ingredients. The brewery doesn’t hold much stock, so it is a good idea to place pre-orders.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Mildly hazed with a frothy head. Bread and raisins are evident enough in what is a fairly hoppy ale.

The taste is dry, bitter, slightly tart, wood, vinous, leathery, berry skin, tannin, oily, brown bread, granny smith apple and funk with a drying and woody finish. Medium. Body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite tart....
